IMPORTANT: While football and basketball games cause substantial changes to parking arrangements, bear in mind that other athletic events may also cause changes. Refer to the athletic calendar for game schedules.

As a holder of a lot 4, 4b, 6, 9 or 11 permit, regrettably, you will experience some parking adjustments prior to and during the men’s home basketball games. We understand that these adjustments are somewhat inconvenient; however, at times we are tasked with accommodating larger than normal crowds on campus. The following information is a guide to parking on campus during the men’s home basketball games.
MOVE YOUR VEHICLE TO LOT 1
You must move your vehicle from your designated lot to Lot 1 beginning as early as six hours, but no later than three hours prior to the start of every home men’s basketball game both during the week and for weekend games (Saturday and/or Sunday). You may begin moving your car six hours prior to game time and no later than three hours prior to game time. You must remove your car from Lot 1 by 8:30 a.m. the following morning of each game. Vehicles remaining in the above lots three hours prior to the game will be ticketed ($75 fine) and relocated ($80 relocation fee) at the owner’s expense. Vehicles remaining in Lot 1 after 8:30 a.m. the following morning will be ticketed ($75 fine). The towing fee will be applied directly to your student account. Please call 301-314-PARK with any questions you may have regarding these instructions.
