Help us help you
-Please remember when you call to give our dispatcher an exact Lot location. For example " Lot 1" is not specific enough a location to help us locate your car quickly and efficiently. A caller might mention that he/she is located in the Northern section of lot 1b, in front of the Ludwig soccer field.
-Please remember to include a detailed description of your car including make, model, color, license plate number ,and type of problem experienced.
-Please remain at your vehicle until the MAV vehicle arrives; persons needing jumpstarts should raise their hoods as well. A person leaving his /her vehicle to inquire a second time about our personnel's time of arrival risks missing our vehicle and his /her place among a list of calls.
-Callers should take an active role in helping our students find their cars. Callers who decrease their visibility by remaining in their vehicles, not putting their hoods up, standing away from their vehicles significantly slow our total response time.
- Response time equals 20 minutes times each call already received (a third caller should expect to wait up to an hour). Persons should, however, proceed to their cars immediately after they call to be present in those cases when we arrive early.
