Faculty/Staff Registration

Permits are issued at the time of initial employment, every two years, and in some instances, yearly.  Faculty/staff (F/S) must initiate registration for parking through their Departmental Transportation Services Coordinator. 

Parking assignments for the F/S areas are determined by each department and the Department of Transportation Services.  For further information regarding how parking assignments are determined please contact your Transportation Services Coordinator. 

University of Maryland University College (UMUC) F/S may park without a permit in unrestricted lots after 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday and all day on weekends, except during some special events.  However, UMUC F/S must register for a permit in order to park in the restricted lots after 4 p.m.
