The Department of Transportation Services is one of the largest college transit organizations in the country and we are proud to provide a reward that lives up to the standards of our service and our customers.
This prize is being funded as part of a negotiated backup parking location for the Professional Golfers Association Championship held in Bethesda, Maryland.
We cannot thank our riders enough for supporting our service and we look forward to providing more great service for many years to come!
Service Bus promotes student involvement in community service by assisting with transportation for University of Maryland, College Park community service projects.
Service Bus supports University of Maryland, College Park student group community service projects requiring transportation to and from service sites. Student groups are invited to apply to use Service Bus for their community service projects during fall and spring semesters.
In order for an event to be a Service Bus, it must be a clearly defined community service program involving students. All Service Bus events must be open to the University of Maryland, College Park community. Service Bus values creating opportunity for students to engage in community service as well as education of those participating in the service. Greater support will be granted to service projects that integrate components of service-learning into the program.
