Zipcar at UMD

If you bike, hike, carpool, or take public transportation to UMD but sometimes need access to a car, join Zipcar. Your trips can take place any time, any day. We have vehicles on campus for drivers as young as 18 years of age.

If you’re already a Zipcar member, reserve your car online or by phone, (866) 4ZIPCAR (494-7227.) Find general information about how Zipcar works on its website, but also note this UMD-specific information:

• Susquehanna Hall Location (University of Maryland) = 2 vehicles

During trips, you can park a Zipcar in any numbered or lettered lot without a UMD parking registration. (You must return it to its original location on time to avoid penalties.) See UMD’s parking map to see all lots.

Zipcar Benefits

Zipcar requires an annual fee. However, the fee comes with an equal amount of driving credit. Also, you can earn driving credit when a friend signs up. Note: You must use these links to receive UMD's special rates. (All plans subject to change.)
